Get to Know Us
We’re here to turn your backyard (or park, or parking lot—no judgment) into the ultimate arena of fun without the hassle of DIY disasters. At Backyard Bash, we build and rent high-quality, giant yard games—like Giant Jenga, Connect Four, Cornhole, and more—so you can focus on the important things: grilling, laughing, and proving you’re the undisputed champion of your friend group.
ā
Why Bash With Us?
ā
Built to Last: Our games are crafted for maximum fun and survival.
ā
Delivered to You: We’ll set up, tear down, and even teach you the unofficial rules (because house rules always win).
ā
For Everyone: Birthday parties, weddings, corporate events, or just a Tuesday—we’ve got the games to make it legendary.
ā
We started Backyard Bash because we believe great memories are made when people play together—and nobody should have to stress over wobbly Jenga towers or sad, splintery cornhole boards. So whether you’re hosting a chill family reunion or a competitive showdown, let’s make it unforgettable.

Meet the Team
Meet Nick and Dan, the co-owners and creators of Backyard Bash!

Chief Bash Officer (CBO)
Nick Hargis
As Backyard Bash’s resident fun dictator, Nick’s job is simple but critical: test every game to ensure it meets his rigorous standards of chaos, laughter, and borderline-competitive madness. His secret? A beard so wise, it literally grows a new ring for every year of party experience (current count: 30+ and counting).
ā
When not scheming up new ways to make backyard parties legendary, you’ll find him writing fan fiction about Red Bull athletes.
āā
Pro Tip: Challenge him to Kübb at your own risk. Dude’s got a 5-year unbeaten streak and zero remorse.ā

Director of Structural Shenanigans (DSS)
Dan Carroll
Dan is the guy who ensures every game at Backyard Bash is stupidly fun but also won’t collapse mid-party (unless you’re into that). As an Air Force engine mechanic turned backyard game guru, he now applies his mechanical genius to important mis, like stress-testing Giant Jenga towers with the focus of a surgeon and the enthusiasm of a golden retriever.
ā
When he’s not grilling questionable hotdogs or debating the perfect playlist for a backyard showdown, you’ll find him reminding Nick that no, you can’t fix wobbly Jenga blocks with “good vibes alone.”āāā
